Our story

The concept of lyllie started with a simple frustration: not finding bikinis that felt comfortable, flattering and actually wearable in real life. Everything I owned felt too minimal on the backside for vacations, which often led me feeling a bit exposed when having to wear these in public all day.

I’ve always felt connected to the beach, feeling more peaceful, creative, and motivated in that environment. I'm always on fire to create, and swimwear naturally became a way to bring that to life.

One day while going through my bikinis, I complained about how stores never sell full coverage backside bottoms anymore, let alone ones that are actually cute. My mom immediately pointed out, maybe that’s the gap.

So I decided to create what I struggled to find: swimwear that is aesthetic, provides bottom coverage and gives you confidence. Pieces you don’t have to second guess. Pieces you can wear from the beach with friends to a family trip, still feeling secure. Every design is created thoughtfully and made to actually be lived in.

I quickly learned that creative ideas rarely stay where they begin. Swimwear was the original inspiration, but the vision has continued to grow beyond bikinis. My goal is to create clothing pieces that feel wearable and intentional whether at the beach or in everyday life.
